Job description:

District Hardware - The Bike Shop is seeking applicants for full and part time seasonal positions in the area of sales and market development. We sell a range of commuter and racing bicycles, and a full line of accessories geared towards many styles of riding.

We are looking for sociable, professional and highly motivated sales associates who wants to be apart of a long-established family business. Candidates should have a desire to further develop their skills and knowledge, and participate in growing the business through our marketing efforts, both in the community and online.

The preferred candidate will have experience in retail relevant to the bicycle industry, have some sales and technical knowledge, be able to competently discuss competitive cycling, and actively participate in local bike-related events.

Must be able to work weekends, including Sunday, on a regular basis. Compensation negotiable subject to experience and performance.
